Hilary Vernon-Smith

Hilary Vernon-Smith is the former Head of Scenic Painting at the National Theatre. Just after she retired her mother died and Hilary inherited all the family photographs and letters. She started drawing pictures of her relatives on organdy, a slightly see through fabric, as though they are fading into the past.
